AptivusAptivus is the brand name for Tipranavir, or Tipranavir Disodium, manufactured and marketed by Boehringer-Ingelheim, and used in conjunction with other medications to treat HIV, or human immunodeficiency virus. The drug was first approved by the U.S. Food and Drug Administration (FDA) in 2005.
