Our mission at GetLegal is to develop a family of sites that constitutes the most useful, informative, reliable and exciting collection of legal resources on the web. We’re constantly working to expand and improve the many resources we offer to legal professionals and members of the public. Organizational Structure & History

TheAttorneyStore.com Inc. and GetLegalTV.com Inc. are Texas corporations headquartered in the Dallas–Fort Worth Metroplex. TheAttorneyStore.com, Inc. operates GetLegal.com, TheAttorneyStore.com, FuenteLegal.com and GetLegalCafe.com. GetLegalTV.com, Inc. operates the online broadcasting network GetLegalTV.com.

Our first website, TheAttorneyStore.com, launched in 1999 as an online store offering supplies, equipment, books and other products necessary for the day-to-day operation of a law office. Over the years, TheAttorneyStore.com has added an attorney directory, legal news, original featured articles and commentary, legal information for the public and information on a variety of matters of interest to legal professionals. TheAttorneyStore.com also launched a successful law firm marketing business offering website design for law firms as well as SEO and web analytics services. GetLegalTV, the web’s first all-legal television network, launched in early 2008.

In June 2008, our information resources and law firm marketing services moved to GetLegal.com, which offers expanded content, improved organization and a new design. Our Spanish-language resources have a new home at FuenteLegal.com. We also have entered a partnership with Cornell Law School’s Legal Information Institute to expand and improve our Legal Information Center and develop our Legal Research Center. TheAttorneyStore.com continues to serve as one-stop shopping for the legal community. In 2008, we also launched GetLegalCafe.com, an online legal community for social, professional and educational networking.

Awards

In 2008, the Webby Awards — the “Oscars of the Internet” — recognized TheAttorneyStore.com as one of the most distinguished law-related websites. TheAttorneyStore.com received a 2007 Webaward from the Web Marketing Association for outstanding achievement in website development.
