Anzemet, the trade name for the prescription drug Dolasetron, is a pharmaceutical product commonly used to treat nausea and vomiting in patients undergoing chemotherapy. It has also been used to address post-operative and post-radiation nausea, but has not been found to be effective for such conditions caused by motion sickness.
The adverse side effects most frequently reported by Dolasetron users include headaches, dizziness and constipation. There is some data to suggest that Dolasetron may also cause an abnormal heart rhythm, especially in patients with underlying heart conditions.
